- What is B112?
B112 is a special wheel balancer designed by FASEP to work on a bench or on a van for mobile tire service. - How many versions of B112 are there?
There are three versions of B112:- B112.G4.KS.QLS: fully manual wheel data input
- B112.G4.KSA.QLS: 2D data input (distance + diameter)
- B112.G4.KS.LK.QLS: 2D data input (distance + diameter), laser line for the application of stick-on weights
- Can B112 work on a van?
Yes, B112 is specially designed for mobile service and the software in particular has been created and patented to work on unstable conditions. - Can B112 work on a van with the operator moving on it?
No, because it would alter the measurements. In that case, anyway, an error message will appear. - Does B112 require additional or more number of calibrations during a season when working on a van?
Thanks to FASEP’s 3-sensor system, B112 needs no additional calibration.
The maintenance schedule of B112 is absolutely similar to those of other stationary wheel balancers and of course the correct use must be the same, avoiding bumping or hitting the shaft. - When B112 is equipped with the folding system, does the operator have to make several calibrations?
There are no different calibration procedures between a B112 equipped with folding system and a B112 fixed on van bench.

This is a Sales Guide to point out the ADVANTAGES of the FASEP Wheel Alignment System.
- FASEP CONTACT CLAMPS DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE PLASTIC COVER FROM RIMS
–with the 3D system, clamps are directly on the rim: the plastic wheel covers (if any) must be removed and nail-adapters must be changed if there are different types of rims between two different cars; all this leads to a waste of time.
–FASEP contact clamps are directly on the wheel and it is only necessary to adjust the position of diameter to touch the tire.
- FASEP CLAMPS DO NOT NEED TO DO RUN OUT COMPENSATION
–with 3D system you have to make the run-out compensation, that is move the car back and forth.
This causes: loss of time, risk of falling of the clamps, bad safety for the worker, hard to move heavy vehicles.
Also compensation cannot be done on 2 posts lift.
-with FASEP, compensation is not needed!
- FASEP CONTACT CLAMPS ARE DRAMATICALLY SAFE while we experienced a lot of falls with our old rim clamps since over 5 years factory maintenance for fallen contact clamps is practically zero.
With the rim-clamps, on the other hand, there is a risk that it may fall (to prevent this clamps are equipped with safety cord hooks).
Also in this case there is waste of time.
- IN FASEP WINTRAX THERE IS NO INSTALLATION DISTANCE LIMITS.
With 3D system there must be a min and max installation distance between cameras and targets.
- WITH FASEP WINTRAX YOU CAN WORK ON ANY LIFT YOU HAVE, just move the trolley and the sensors.
3D system is installed for only one lifter, it cannot be moved.

- Can NoContact work on a 4 posts lifter? Yes, NoContact can work on any type of platform lifter. It is advisable to carry out the alignment on a lifter with turntables and rear slipping tables.
- Can NoContact work on a pit? No, NoContact cannot be installed in a pit because the cameras measure from a height of approximately 30 cm. For this case, the specific pit model would be needed which is currently not available.
- How much space is required for the installation of NoContact? The space required is 90cm on either side of the lifter for the installation of the rails. Click here for more info.
- Which are the differences between NoContact and R.E.M.O.?
- STICKERS (NoContact) vs LASER (Remo):
The FASEP system uses adhesive “stickers”.
Stickers are important to identify accurately the WHEEL BASE (angles and distance from the camera = Toe / Camber and Wheelbase / F+R tracks).
The two NoContact cameras perform the following operations:
- compensate for tolerance in the application of adhesives
- identifying the wheel centre (F/R)
- find the wheel by scanning the external profile of the tire (here’s why REMO is much slower than NoContact)
- identify the wheel base (measuring distances)
- LIVE MEASUREMENTS: REMO lasers DO NOT MEASURE ROTATION (steering) This is why REMO does not measure LIVE CASTER.
- MEASUREMENT TRACKING: REMO ONLY automatically follows the lifter up and down if the alignment is done on a Corghi lifter, whereas the NoContact does the same with ANY LIFTER.
- STICKERS (NoContact) vs LASER (Remo):
The FASEP system uses adhesive “stickers”.
Stickers are important to identify accurately the WHEEL BASE (angles and distance from the camera = Toe / Camber and Wheelbase / F+R tracks).
The two NoContact cameras perform the following operations:
- Which are the differences between ARGOS Cemb and NoContact?
- READING MEASUREMENTS: CEMB has a considerably lower reading accuracy: with the same fixed rear camera it has to frame a space ranging from the rear of a Smart car to the rear of a Ducato L4, i.e. at least 3-4 metres of framing. This means that the lens works on the edge, i.e. in the zone of maximum optical distortion. In contrast, NoContact always works in front of the wheel, in the optimum position.
- MEASUREMENT TRACKING: ARGOS works at fixed heights, on the ground or at two metres. NoContact, on the other hand, works at any height and without any interruption thanks to the continuous tracking system.
