Fire-fighting vehicle at Athens Airport
MAN X31 Panther is a special
fire-fighting vehicle carrying up to 12.5 tons of water, 40 tons total weight.
It has an engine of 1000 HP and 8x8 wheels traction.
It can run at top speed of 138 km/h for a maximum time of 8 minutes before
tires can explode.
For this reason, an accurate wheel alignment is necessary.
Athens Airport used this special vehicle in occasion of Olympic Games in
2004.
To perform an accurate wheel alignment on this special vehicle, FASEP was the
